Welcome to St Thomas' Burwood

寶活聖公會聖多馬堂

A merger of St Theodore's Wattle Park (hence some of the references you'll find on this site) and St Michael & All Angel's Bennettswood. We're a small Anglican community church serving Surrey Hills, Box Hill South and Burwood in the inner east of Melbourne Australia.
Our tradition is evangelical reformed Anglican.
We seek to share the good news of God's love in Jesus Christ to those around us in a loving and caring fashion.

We have just closed our 107 Broughton Rd site and are now operating entirely from44 Station St, Burwood (see our Worship Services page)  MAP

Broughton Rd Centre Closed

E-mail Print PDF

Two years after merging our two Parishes our Broughton Rd site was closed on Advent Sunday, November 29th 2009. The church, which was originally St Theodore's Wattle Park, was closed with a large congregation present including some of those who awere invlved in the first discussion about planting a new Church of England Parish here in 1949. Although the Church building has closed, the ministry that was established then will continue in its new guise of St Thomas' Burwood.

If you would like to see the powerpoint of photos from the past 60 years you'll find them here (but please note this is a 13MB file)

See our Photo Album for photos of the event.

All of our services will be held at 44 Station St from now on.
